The current project i'm directing is in deep pre-production. Apart is a horror short following a man returning to his family home after a breakup. 

 

Everything appears fine and he begins to repair his fractured relationship with his mother however when he begins to get fed blatant lies about his father's whereabouts he  goes searching for the man he thinks he was raised by.

I have a more maximalist directorial approach with flavours of naturalism for Apart, almost a Brian de Palma/Karyn Kusama hybrid as I feel it not only serves the story well but is an interesting and creative way to tell the story.
