I co-produced and 1st assistant directed the poetic documentary Memoriam navigating the life and untimely passing of a young man suffering many adversities but not allowing them to define him.

This project works very differently to a short and we had to work with absolute sensitivity in ensuring the interview subjects were treated well and given time and space to experience their emotions in a safe place. I found myself scheduling a decent chunk of time for set-up then having all crew except for the director leave the house for the interview to be conducted during which b-roll was taken.
